News and Upcoming Events

Special events and fundraising are a vital part of supporting the programs and services of Centre 55, and help to provide engaging experiences for our membership and raise critical funds for our charity.

We organize unique events such as Slobberfest, Bard in the Park, Kids’ Night In, the 55 Car Show, Beach Citizen of the Year and our Soup-Tasting Competition, as well as offering monthly dinners, members’ day trips, outings and community get-togethers, trivia and bingo! Our annual traditions of Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and with Hamper the Reindeer, The Beaches Santa Claus Parade & our Share a Christmas program are also a staple in the community and truly at the heart of the community.
